An archived prop-trading platform that let traders use our capital and keep the profits

FoxFunding was meant to be a prop-trading platform: talented traders could apply, pass an evaluation, trade with our capital, and keep a majority share of the profits. The idea was to lower the bar for people who are good at trading but don’t have the bankroll to do it at any meaningful size.

I got the platform most of the way there, but another project I was working on in parallel, TraderEdge, grew faster than we expected and absorbed the attention we had earmarked for this one. At some point it became clear we couldn’t do justice to both, so FoxFunding got archived.

Linking it here mostly for completeness, and because the experience of building it taught me a lot about the financial side of software (KYC, payouts, risk rules) that I still reach for on later projects.
